/> Govinda had a havan at the Siddhi- Vinayak yemple on Thursday attended by his entire family.

"It was something I've never done before in all my years in Mumbai. Of course I've always been devout and I do believe in regular puja. But I've never had a havan in a temple before, " Govinda said a few hours after the ceremony concluded.

Sounding fatigued but at peace Govinda said, "It was a sankalp (vow) that I had taken on my family's behalf. Too much has been happening to us, and too frequently.

We need the Gods to be slightly benevolent towards us. Now I feel the worst is really over for us. Things can only get better."

Govinda's family, his wife and two children, attended the havan at Siddhi-Vinayak.

"At this moment when things have just started going well for us we need all the blessings and best wishes we can get.I feel God has been taking my pariksha for reasons best known to him. "
